The Spanish nightgale sings on 8th June in Portadown market – 2-4 pm.

Spain is a country of contrasts, with a variety of cultures and languages. A Spanish Journey aims to be a celebration of this diversity though song. It is also a personal journey into the different songs that have accompanied me through the years and have shaped my identity. This session will be showcasing a selection of songs with texts from famous poets like Federico García Lorca and Rafael Alberti and songwriters like Joan Manuel Serrat and Manuel Oltra together with some information about the context where they were created as well as personal stories.
