Inkslingers

The launch of the anthology to which I have contributed about my life in Competa, is on 16th May at the Irish Writers Centre in Dublin. Time: 19:00.

My lovely ex, Brian Sparks, bought me a subscription for the fantastic Irish Writers Circle for Xmas. I went to pick up the anthology on 5th January, and also joined the wonderfully hospitable Inkslingers who meet every Saturday in Parnell Square from 1.30. It is great fun.

The Inkslingers have published their Anthology on Amazon now. Both paperback and eBook are available, the eBook to pre order for release on May 1st.
Spread the word far and wide but encourage paperback readers to purchase the book at our launch or direct from me rather than the Amazon site if possible. This is the most beneficial option money wise, for our charity donation. it also costs them less as they don’t pay the postage.

The group is a private one and it is not associated, in any way, with the Irish Writers Centre. The Irish Writers Centre kindly provide us with a unique and beautiful meeting place and for that I am grateful.

There are, however, some basic principles underlying the groups ethos. Respect must be shown to all members, either in their writings or in their postings. Nothing illegal, immoral gratuitously offensive should be posted on the group mailing list.

From the facilitator.

Basic tenets

I have written two books, “Creating the North Highland Way” and “WWII Sites in Caithness“. I am about to release “The Battle for Brough Bay”, a sad story of a village in the far north of Scotland.
